Just wanted to let you know that Jonathan has a clean bill of health from the Dr. Thank you for your prayers for our family. We should have our prayer letter out this week and will post it on the site. May the Lord bless.

Just a short note to ask you to pray for Jonathan. He had been having pain in the left side of his chest. The pediatrician oredered a x-ray and ekg. The x-ray was normal with some problems with the ekg. They have referred him to a pediatric cardiologist. He has had some problems before but had recieved a clean bill of health from the same ped. cardiologist. We have an appointment April 2. We want to get him in sooner but they had  a Dr. to leave and the schedule is packed. Our trip to Utah is the week before this and we don't want to leave untill we know everything is allright. Please help us pray for Jonathan.

Greetings once again. God has blessed the past year of deputation above all that we could ask or think, how great He is.

 

MINISTRY UPDATE

 

By the end of 2007 God has blessed with 63% of our needed support coming in. We are praying about being on the field by the end of summer if our support continues to grow at this rate. The Lord blessed with a full schedule in ’07 and we were able to present the ministry in several churches.   We would ask you to help us pray for our schedule this year, that we could have a busy and productive schedule. God allowed us to be a part of 21 precious souls making a profession of faith in Christ in ’07. What a joy it is to be able to see sinners born again. Sherri, Levi and myself are planning on a week long trip at the end of March back out to Utah and would ask you to help us pray about those needs.  We have almost completed a CD of the kids singing. If anyone would be interested in it, just get in touch with us. I have also started on a CD and DVD dealing with some basic information on Mormonism. Several people have inquired about the information we give and I hope to have these available in a couple of months.  

 

FAMILY NEWS

 

God has kept us fairly healthy and safe. Other than a few viruses, we’ve not seen much sickness. God kept us safe with almost 72,000 miles on deputation in ’07 and only one deer collision, we are grateful for His protection. Lydia  has turned three this month and is growing into a little lady. Home schooling is going better this year as we have learned how to manage it a little better on the road. Greetings once again. we trust everyone has had an enjoyable Thanksgiving and looking forward to Christmas as we celebrate the Saviors birth. Jonathan and me just returned late tonight from Winston Salem and Liberty. We attended the Baptist Heritage Camp Meeting at Meadowview Baptist Church in Winston Salem where Bro. Robert Hutchens is the Pastor. We were encouraged and challenged through the preaching and fellowship. After service 23 people traveled to Liberty, NC to the Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Bro. Jeff Faggart led the tour. This is the place where Shubal Stearns planted the Sandy Creek Baptist Church and sent out church planters throughout the South. I will post some pictures soon. The Lord blessed the services Sunday at West Side Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC with a young lady getting saved. Please pray for this church as they are without a pastor at the present time. On a lighter note, Jonathan and myself have made the news. We were fishing one afternoon and a news crew drove by and wanted to film us.
