update

Hello everyone. As fall and harvest season is upon us, we look back at the time of preparing and sowing and desire to see fruit. It is too late to plant any more crops. The planting season and watering season is over. We will soon be realizing that our opportunity to reach a lost and dying world will also be gone. Let us be diligent to plant and water that souls may be saved. Our desire is to be on the filed where the Lord has called us to be. We have been blessed to be in some good churches the past few weeks. God has kept us safe as we have traveled and we have seen the Lord move in the hearts and lives of His people. Thank you for your prayers and support of our family. Please continue to pray for our family. If you would like to be on our e-mail prayer letter list please contact us through the web site. May the Lord bless.

Prayer requests and update

We just returned from Va yesterday and had a good trip. God has been good to us these past few weeks and for this we are grateful. Ashley hasn't had a recurrence of the heart problem since they sent her home with a monitor. We are glad she hasn't had any more episodes but do desire to know what the problem is. We are fully aware that God is able and may have already healed her. Please keep praying for her.
I would like to also ask you to continue praying for Sandra Stewart, wife of Bro. Mark Stewart, Mid East field director for MWBM. She is having a difficult time with the cancer and treatments. The Stewarts have been such a blessing to our family innumerable times and we are so grateful for their friendship over the years. PLease pray also for Pastor Richard Saunders, Pastor of Centerville Baptist Church in South Boston, Va. He was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, had surgery, and will begin treatments soon.
We have had 6 new supoporters say they are going to join with our family in reaching the state of Utah. What a blessing this is. Please pray that God would meet that need and for the support to come in. Thank you for all your prayers and support, phone calls and everything else that you do. We appreciate it, and even though it may go unoticed to this world, God sees your faithfullness. Hebrews 6:10

Utah survey trip

Thank you for being patient with us while we post the update from the survey trip.  We flew out of Charlotte on Wed. May 9th and landed in Salt Lake City that morning. We spent two days in the Salt Lake area and then traveled down to St. George on Friday. We stayed in the St. George area untill Wednesday when we traveled back to the Salt Lake City area and flew back home on Friday the 18th.

While in the Salt Lake City area we were able to survey most of the Northern part of the state up to Logan. The time in St. George we surveyed the southern end of the state and we were able to go just inside the Nevada state line to Mesquite. One thing we learned is that from the southern tip to the northern tip of the state there is not a wrong location to plant a church in the state. We believe we will be in the Salt Lake valley area to begin church planting.

While we were in Salt Lake City, we met an Iranian immigrant who is of the Bahai faith. He left Iran because of the persecution he received because he was not a muslim. God allowed us to witness to this man for almost an hour and give him a clear presentation of the Gospel for the first time in his life. He asked if Ihad any literature, I told him the only literature we have is the Bible. He asked if I could get him one in his language (Farsi). I told him I would try to find him one. This was the first part of the trip while we were in SLC the first time. While in St George, Bro. Kindheart at Macedonia Worldwide Missions directed me to a organization and we had a Farsi Bible overnighted to us. When we returned to SLC we gave him the Bible and some verses to look at. Please pray for Shaun, I feel like he was being dealt with by the Lord. He was scared while we were sharing scriptures with him that he would be arrested. In Iran it is illegal to convert to any religion other than Islam and also illegal to proselytize anyone.

While in St. George we went to the temple to go through the visitors center. A young lady, a missionary, met us a t the door and escorted us through the center. Two  hours later, God had opened the door to give this LDS missionary thye Gospel and watch God tear down the walls that the Mormons had put up. Please pray for thjis young lady, MS. B.

Thank you to all who have prayed for our family, and those who have given that we could go. Hebrews 6:10.

We now have a presentaion DVD, if you are interested, please contact us. Also, if you are not on our prayer letter and would like to be please let us know.

We returned today from Florence Kentucky where we were in service with Pastor Doug Foster and the Immanuel Baptist Church. The Lord blessed with a good service as we presented the ministry and Bro. Foster preached a encouraging message from Acts 3: 1-11. As we traveled back we stopped at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum. While there we met two ladies, Michelle and Tammy. We talked for a while about the Bible, eternity, etc and the Lord began to  move and as we shared scripture Michelle and Tammy both asked the Lord to save them.  Please pray for these two precious ladies as they begin their new life in Christ. God has been so good to us this year and allowed us to see 14 precious souls saved.  Thank you for your prayers and support of our family. This would not be possible without your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for our family as we travel that God woud continue to use us for His glory. Also please pray for our upcoming survey trip to Utah. We are praying that while we are there, we would see the Lord save souls. Thank you for each one that has sacrificially given for this trip. We don't take your support for granted. May the Lord bless.

April 23, 2007
Our family just returned from a few days in Jennings and Baton Rouge, LA. We traveled down Tue. and Wed. and were in service with Pastor Buddy Howard and the Calvary Baptist Church Wednesday night. The Lord blessed with a good service as we presented the work and preached that night and was blessed to see the Lord save a dear woman. We had a wonderful meal after service and good fellowship and appreciate Bro. Howard and the people at Calvary Baptist Church. Thursday and Friday we were with Pastor Glen Taylor and the Temple Baptist Church in Baton Rouge for a mission conference with Bro. Stinnett Ballew preaching. Pastor Taylor, his family, and the Temple Baptist Church were a tremendous blessing to our family. Our hearts were stirred through the preaching and our souls were refreshed with the fellowship. Thank you Bro. Taylor. As we left out Saturday morning Pastor Taylor took us through New Orleans to see the destruction from huricane Katrina. It has almost been two years but the devastation is still hard to comprehend. That city is still in need of our prayers as much work remains to be done. Sunday night we were with Pastor Tommy Morrow and the Roseville Baptist Church in Flag Pond, Tn. The Lord blessed in the service and we are grateful to Pastor Morrow and the Roseville Baptist Church for taking us on for support. Pastor Morrow has a burden for missions and for his community and it was a joy to be in service with him.
We are grate ful the Lord has given us a busy schedule and kept us safe in all the miles we have traveled. Please pray for our upcoming survey trip and the needs with that.
We thank the Lord that we are now at 45% and have seen 12 precious souls savd this year. God is good.

We just added this web site today and we hope that it will enable you to be able to keep up with our travels, and with what the Lord is doing.
                                                                           Mon. April 16, 2007
We had the privilege of being with Pastor Randy Smith and the Trinity Baptist Church in Easley South Carolina this past week and had a tremendous Missions Conference. Bro. Allen Barker did  some wonderful preaching and we were able to meet some new friends. We want to thank Trinity Baptist Church for joining us in reaching the state of Utah with the Gospel. Bro. Darren Smith, Asst. Pastor did a wonderful job at organizing the conference and we are grateful for all the churh did for our family.

Sunday night we were with Pastor Scott Dotson and the Lusk Chapel Baptist Church in Hot Springs NC. We had a good service and presented the work to the church and then preached the Sunday night service. God met with us and we seen the Lord save a young girl in the service. Thank God that He is still saving sinners.

PLease also pray for a lady by the name of Connie that was saved in the Wal-Mart parking lot a week ago Friday. We were coming out and she stopped and asked us some questions, we asked her about her salvation and was shoked to find out that she was faithful to a Baptist church every week and was the cleaning lady but never had repented. We were able to show her through the scriptures that she was a sinner and deserved hell and that she needed to ask God to forgive her. We knelt behind the car in the parking lot and she was gloriously saved that night. Glory to God.

Please pray for our upcoming survey trip and the finances with that and for traveling grace as we present the ministry. God has been very gracious in giving us a busy schedule. We are currently at 44% of our needed support and have seen God save 11 precious souls this year.
Bro. Kevin
